Description
Description: A variety that has been known for over 250 years in Japan, Tamukeyama is relatively new in the United States. It is a vigorous red threadleaf form, the leaves not being cut as deeply as the finer Crimson Queen or Ever Red but still giving a very similar effect. The new foliage is a deep crimson-red when young, turning a dark purple-red when older. As with the other varieties of red dissectums that we grow, the color holds very well through the summer, turning a bright scarlet in the fall. This is another good one, just a bit different from the others – faster growing than our other red threadleafs.
